1 Iceland Gull (adult), 3 Snow Bunting and 9 Whooper Swan - Hilbre Island.
3 Twite, 6 Stonechat and 40 Golden Plover - Red Rocks, also possible hybrid calidrid as seen on Oct 12th.
1 Mediterranean Gull (adult) - Leasowe Shore.
2 Little Egret, 1 Water Rail, 2 Merlin, 3 Peregrine, 1 Short-eared Owl and 5 Red-breasted Merganser - Heswall Riverbank Road at high tide, estimated 3,000 Black-tailed Godwit seen earlier.
1 Hen Harrier, 2 Short-eared Owl, 1 Little Owl, 1 Kingfisher, 1 Merlin, 6 Little Egret, 2 Grey Partridge and 200+ Black-tailed Godwit - Parkgate at high tide.

1 Grey Phalarope flying west - Leasowe Shore.
1 Avocet - Connah's Quay Reserve.
5 Little Egret and 2 Grey Wagtail - Neston Old Quay.
3,000 Black-tailed Godwit - Heswall Shore.
October 24 2 Whooper Swan and 6 Red-breasted Merganser - West Kirby Marine Lake, this morning.
4,000 Dunlin, 2,300 Oystercatcher, 420 Curlew, 275 Grey Plover, 500 Knot, 24 Sanderling and 315 Redshank - West Kirby Shore over high tide, as counted by the DEVW.
4 Whooper Swan went down between Little Eye and Middle Hilbre, then flew off north-east.
1 Little Stint and 3 Bewick's Swan -  Inner Marsh Farm.
15 Rock Pipit - Hoylake Shore.
2 Water Pipit - Neston Old Quay.
October 23 1 Little Stint, 3 Bewick's Swan, 100+ Golden Plover and 1 Jack Snipe  -  Inner Marsh Farm.
1 Common Scoter - West Kirby Marine Lake.
October 22 1 Great Grey Shrike- Red Rocks marsh showing until 9am, then flew off towards Hilbre, 10 Brambling and a Sparrowhawk over.
12 Great-crested Grebe off Caldy Shore at high tide.
1 Black Grouse reported yesterday on waste ground between B&Q and Max Spielmans, Wallasey - NOT confirmed, no further sightings. 
360 Black-tailed Godwit - Thurstaston Shore.
56 Black-tailed Godwit and 350+ Shelduck just off south end West Kirby Marine Lake disturbed by a Merlin, 1 Scaup on the lake.
1 Lapland Bunting - Point of Ayr.
3 Hen Harrier (ringtails, one male) seen coming into roost at Parkgate.
1 Merlin, 2 Short-eared Owl and 2 Little Owl -  Denhall Quay, observed hunting over marsh at dusk.
October 21 1 Great Grey Shrike- Red Rocks marsh, showing well most of the day.
1 Firecrest (plus Goldcrest imitating Firecrest call!) - Hoylake, Kings Gap.
400 Black-tailed Godwit - Thurstaston Shore.
October 20 1 Richard's Pipit- Red Rocks, this morning.
1 Kingfisher - Parkgate, on Heswall golf course, also 2 Hen Harrier (ringtail) coming in to roost on the marsh.
2 Jack Snipe, 1 Water Rail and 1 Peregrine -  Inner Marsh Farm.
October 19 1 Lapland Bunting and 3 Twite - Red Rocks marsh.
2 Snow Bunting - Hilbre Island.
1 Hen Harrier (male) and 6 Little Egret - Parkgate.
October 18 130 Pink-footed Goose (2 flocks) flying east, 120 Lapwing and 310 Sanderling on the shore - Leasowe Lighthouse.
1 Peregrine - Caldy Shore, significantly more waders here than last week.
October 17 Estimated 15,000 mixed waders off Leasowe Lighthouse as tide came in, mainly Dunlin, Knot, Grey Plover and Bar-tailed Godwit, also 250 Sanderling.
1 Kingfisher - Lingham Lane, Moreton, seen from bridge over River Birket, also 1 Stonechat (male) nearby.
50 Siskin and 2 Yellowhammer - Thurstaston Hill.
1 Spoonbill, 2 Little Egret and 1 Hen Harrier (ringtail) - Burton Marsh.
October 16 210 Black-tailed Godwit - Cubbins Green, one hour before high tide.
1 Kingfisher - Lingham Lane, Moreton, seen from bridge over River Birket.
Possible American Golden Plover - Red Rocks.
October 15 185 Black-tailed Godwit - Caldy Shore, low tide.

2 Peregrine, 1 Merlin, 300+ Redwing, and 50 Fieldfare - Hoylake Langfields.
250 Redwing, 70 Fieldfare, 3 Brambling and 9 Golden Plover - West Kirby shore.
Possible Curlew Sandpiper x Pectoral Sandpiper on Hoylake Shore (by Old Baths at 1630hrs, seen earlier off Kings Gap).

October 11 1 Curlew Sandpiper and 2 Greenshank - Heswall Shore.
10 Brent Goose (pale-bellied), 1 Mediterranean Gull (1st winter) and 3 Sandwich Tern - West Kirby shore.
Good visible migration at Lingham Lane, Moreton including 200 Meadow Pipits.
1 Common Scoter (drake) - West Kirby Marine Lake.
October 10 5 Sandwich Tern with 2,000 Oystercatcher - West Kirby Shore at high tide, 1 Common Scoter (drake) still on the Marine Lake.
