1 Bar-tailed Godwit (first record for 12 years at this site) and 1 Knot in among 300 Black-tailed Godwit - Gilroy, West Kirby.
2,000+ Black-tailed Godwit off West Kirby Sailing Club at low tide, beyond the moored boats.
3 Wheatear - Burton Point.

1 Little Stint and 1 Curlew Sandpiper - Hoylake Shore at high tide.
1 Wheatear, 20 Ringed Plover and 1 Peregrine - Heswall Shore.
1 Mediterranean Gull - West Kirby Shore.
1 Arctic Skua and 1 Whimbrel - Hilbre.

1 Marsh Harrier being mobbed by hirundines one of which was taken by a Merlin - Burton Marsh.
2 juv Marsh Harrier and 2 Greenshank - Old Baths, Parkgate.

1 Kingfisher at Lingham bridge, 1 Little Owl nearby - Lingham Lane, Moreton.
12 Spoonbill, 1 Marsh Harrier, 2 Cetti's Warbler, 5 Ruff, 1 Wood Sandpiper, 1 Little Stint and 2 Curlew Sandpiper - Burton Mere Wetlands.
12 Spoonbill flew over Burton Point towards Flint this evening, 1 Hen Harrier over the marsh.

1 Curlew Sandpiper - Hoylake Shore at high tide.
2 Ruff dropped in to join the c2,500 Black-tailed Godwit - Gilroy, West Kirby.
1 Little Stint, 2 Curlew Sandpiper, 12 Greenshank, 6 Ruff, 1 Marsh Harrier snd 12 Spoonbill - Burton Mere Wetlands.

Sep 1
2,700 Black-tailed Godwit, fantastic sight and sound as they came in from the estuary in several large flocks between 8am and 9am - Gilroy, West Kirby, 3 Greenshank over this afternoon, they may have landed but coluldn't be located.
