3 Great Egret and 2 Hen Harrier (grey male and ringtail) off Cottage Lane - Heswall Marsh.
1 Greenshank and 1 Little Gull (which flew off high) - Kerr's Field, Leasowe Lighthouse.
11+ Water Rail, 2 Hen Harrier (both adult grey males), 1 Marsh Harrier, 2 Jack Snipe with many Common Snipe and 4 Stonechat over high tide - Old Baths, Parkgate.

5 Purple Sandpiper with 250 Turnstone at high tide - New Brighton Marine Lake.

5 Brent Geese on lake, 6 Pintail in channel just off south end - West Kirby Marine Lake.

1 Hen Harrier (sub-adult grey male) - Heswall Marsh.
3 Goosander - West Kirby Marine Lake.
1 Mediterranean Gull (adult nearly in full s/pl) - Kerr's Field, Leasowe Lighthouse.
1 Hen Harrier (grey male), 6 Short-eared Owl - Denhall Quay.
1 Bittern flew into reedbed at dusk, also 5 Marsh Harrier, 1 Merlin and 1 Short-eared Owl - Neston Marsh.
1 Barn Owl giving really close views near Old Quay Road - Neston.
6,000 Herring Gull, 450 Black-headed Gull and 61 Great Black-backed Gull - Hilbre.

1 Little Gull heading into Mersey - New Brighton.
33 Whooper Swan on marsh seen from Flint Bridge - Outer Burton Marsh.
1 Greenshank - Burton Mere Wetlands.
2 Snow Bunting on beach near Lifeboat Station - Hoylake.

Feb 12
1 Icelandic Redwing (strikingly distinct, dark and heavily streaked) with Song Thrushes - Neston Sewage Farm.
At least 2 Hen Harrier (1 adult male) and 1 Barn Owl - Parkgate.
2 Snow Bunting by Lifeboat Station this morning, seen for 5 minutes before disturbed by dog walkers - Hoylake.

Feb 11
4 Snow Bunting - Wallasey Shore (Derby Pool).
1 Greenshank by groyne - Meols Shore.
5 Little Grebe on Donkey Stand Flash, also 3 Great Egret and 2 Marsh Harrier - Parkgate.
1 Woodcock over Ditton Lane at dusk, 3 Bullfinch along Lingham Lane - Leasowe.
1 (possibly 2) Bittern came into roost - Neston Reedbed.

 1 Snow Bunting by Lifeboat Station - Hoylake.
1 Hen Harrier (ringtail) - Gronant.
1 Hen Harrier (grey male) - Burton Mere Wetlands.

 1 Snow Bunting by Lifeboat Station - Hoylake.
1 Marsh Harrier, 5 Great Egret, 2,000+ Lapwing and 3,000+ Pink-footed Geese - Parkgate.

Feb 8
3 Purple Sandpiper on pontoon at high tide - New Brighton Marine Lake.
1 Cattle Egret and 1 Spotted Redshank - Burton Mere Wetlands.
2 Hen Harrier (ringtail and grey male) and 1 Short-eared Owl - Neston/Parkgate Marsh.

6 Chiffchaff (two showed characteristics of Siberian) - Neston Sewage Works.

1 grey male Hen Harrier over the reserve, 19 Whooper Swan and 3 Goosander - Connah's Quay Nature Reserve.
1 Great Egret - Parkgate.
3 Woodcock which flew towards Parkgate - Neston Marsh.

1 Snow Goose with Pink-footed Geese on grassland, later flew to Burton Marsh, also 1 Marsh Harrier, 1 Whooper Swan and 1 Mediterranean Gull - Burton Mere Wetlands.
1 Hen Harrier (sub-adult grey male), 6 Marsh Harrier, 4 Great Egret, 1 Peregrine, 1 Short-eared Owl and a flyover Snow Bunting over high tide, 2 Barn Owl and 3 Hen Harrier (2 male, 1 ringtail) at dusk - Old Baths, Parkgate.
3 Short-eared Owl - Denhall Quay.
 1 Snow Bunting by Lifeboat Station - Hoylake.
5 Woodcock at dusk - Burton Village.

Feb 1
1 Water Rail, 2 Jack Snipe, 2 Greenshank, 950 Reshank and 3 Rock Pipit seen from a windy Target Road at high tide - Heswall Shore.
1 Snow Goose came into roost with 6,000 Pink-footed Geese, also 4 Ruddy Shelduck - Burton Mere Wetlands.

675 Pink-footed Geese, 2 Dabchick, 160 Pintail, 190 Teal, 187 Golden Plover, 3000 Knot, 2000 Dunlin, 340 Black-tailed Godwit, 185 Bar-tailed Godwit, 530 Curlew, 3 Greenshank, 805 Redshank, 58 Snipe, 3 Jack Snipe over high tide - Heswall Shore.
1 Snow Goose with Pink-footed Geese then flew towards Chester this afternoon. also 1 Woodcock, 1 Redpoll and 20+ Siskin - Burton Mere Wetlands.
1 Snow Bunting by Lifeboat Station, 5 Red-throated Diver, 4 Razorbill and hundreds of Common Scoter on sea at high tide - Hoylake.
20 Twite on Flint Marsh.
1 Great Egret in field near cycle track - Hoylake Langfields.
4 Goosander (1 male, 3 redhead) on duck pond - Gilroy Nature Park, West Kirby.
4 Snow Bunting in sand dunes by Derby Pool but mobile in strong wind - Wallasey Shore.

5,000 Pink-footed Geese heading north at first light towards Lancashire, also seen over West Kirby and north Wirral - Thurstaston Shore.
1 Yellowhammer over and 1 grey male Hen Harrier - Riverbank Road, Heswall.
2 Red-breasted Merganser and 8 Goosander - West Kirby Marine Lake.

1 Corn Bunting (heard and seen flying, last seen heading north over large field at back of car park) - Riverbank Road, Heswall.

2 Hen Harrier (1 grey male and 1 ringtail) and Barn Owl - Parkgate.
10+ Marsh Harrier and 1 Bittern going to roost in Neston Reedbed.

1 Great Egret flushed from River Birkett then flew south - Leasowe Lighthouse.
1 Bittern flew into roost - Neston Reedbed.

25 Twite in hedge - Connah's Quay Nature Reserve.
4 Goosander (1 male, 3 redhead) on duck pond - Gilroy Nature Park, West Kirby.

10,000+ Knot which left when a Peregrine came and they all flew towards Hoylake - Meols Shore.

120 Sanderling, 500 Grey Plover, 7,000 Dunlin and 11,000 Knot at high tide (all estimates as distant), also 1 Snow Bunting - Hoylake.
3 Bewick's Swan and 1 Whooper Swan - Shotwick Fields (also seen from Border hide at Burton Mere Wetlands).
Single Marsh Harriers recorded at both Burton Mere Wetlands and Burton Marsh.
21 Red-breasted Merganser, 4,740 Dunlin and 5,260 Oystercatcher over high tide - Heswall Shore.
3 Hen Harrier (2 grey males) - Parkgate.
1 Snow Bunting - Point of Ayr.
427 Black-tailed Godwits - Thurstaston.

170 Golden Plover this morning - Heswall Shore.
7,000 Knot early morning before Peregrine spooked them - Meols Shore.
1 Hen Harrier (ringtail) and 1 Great Egret - Riverbank Road, Heswall.

1 Jack Snipe, 1 Green Sandpiper and 6 Chiffchaf around sewage works, 3 Water Pipit by the Old Quay, 1 Bittern flew into reed-bed this evening - Neston Marsh/Reedbed.
4 Little Grebe on Donkeystand Flash, also 1 Barn Owl and 1 Jack Snipe - Parkgate.
4,000 Knot roosting before high tide then flew towards Crosby - Meols Shore.

c2,000 Pink-footed Geese flew between Irby and Heswall this morning.

1190 Pink-footed Geese flew inland at first light, 27 feral Barnacle Geese, 630 Pintail, 240 Teal, 5500 Oystercatcher, 740 Lapwing, 193 Golden Plover, 4000 Knot 1500 Dunlin, 63 Snipe, 260 Black-tailed Godwit, 840 Curlew, 1 Greenshank, 815 Redshank over high tide - Heswall Shore.
