3.884 Cormorant counted exiting the estuary early morning which could well be the highest ever single site UK count for this species - Hilbre.

1 Mediterranean Gull flew past Derby Pool pub as tide went out - Wallasey Shore.
14 Purple Sandpiper and 1 Greenshank in the wader roost, 1 Kittiwake over - New Brighton Marine Lake.

800 Black-tailed Godwit, and 1 Greenshank - Heswall Shore, 9 Chiffchaff by Target Road.
1 Hen Harrier - Parkgate Marsh.
1 Great White Egret flew south over Birkenhead Road, Meols, this evening.

4 Chiffchaff and 1 Twite at sewage works, Target Road, Heswall.
3 Black-necked Grebe - Shotwick Lake, 4 species of swan in adjacent fields - Black, Mute, Bewick's and Whooper.
