Wirral Wader Festival Nov 14th and 15th 2015

Timetable:

SATURDAY

10am Thurstaston Visitor Centre opens.

11am start - Live Webcam of Little Eye Roost at West Kirby Marine Lake car park.

11am to 2pm High Tide Bird Watch at West Kirby, join the Dee Estuary Voluntary Wardens and Cheshire Wildlife Trust on West Kirby Shore (meet at West Kirby Marine Lake car park).

11am to 1pm Hoylake High Tide Birdwatch.

11am to 1pm New Brighton High Tide Birdwatch by Marine Lake.

1pm start  Wildlife Walk at Red Rocks, meet at West Kirby Marine Lake car park.

1pm to 3pm Creatures in the mud at Thurstaston Visitor Centre.

2pm to 2.30pm  talk at Thurstaston Visitor Centre, Wader Quest  (Rick and Elis Simpson) - Community Wader Conservation.

2pm to 3pm Low Tide Birdwatch with the Biggest Twitch Team, Thurstaston Shore.

2.45pm - 3.15pm  talk at Thurstaston Visitor Centre, Matt Thomas - Shooting Waders.

3pm until dark – RSPB Dusk Birdwatch at Parkgate, Old Baths Car Park.

3.30pm to 4pm  talk at Thurstaston Visitor Centre , Alan and Ruth Davies - The Biggest Twitch. 

SUNDAY

10am Thurstaston Visitor Centre opens.

11.30am to 2.30pm Join the Dee Estuary Voluntary Wardens and Cheshire Wildlife Trust on West Kirby Shore (meet at West Kirby Marine Lake car park).

1.30 pm to 3pm Beach cleaning on Thurstaston Shore with the Soroptomist beach cleaners.

2pm to 2.30pm  talk at Thurstaston Visitor Centre, Allan Conlin, Wader Workshop.

2.30pm to 3.30pm Low Tide Birdwatch with the Biggest Twitch Team, Thurstaston Shore.

2.45pm to 3.15pm  talk at Thurstaston Visitor Centre, David Clare, Wader Food in the Mud.

3pm until dark – RSPB Dusk Birdwatch at Parkgate, Old Baths Car Park.

3.30pm to 4pm  talk at Thurstaston Visitor Centre, Scott Reid, Digiscoping.
